Krasnodar – Another woman who was poisoned by homemade alcohol (chacha) from Sochi has died in the hospital. She was undergoing treatment in Ufa after methanol poisoning, according to the press service of the Bashkiria Ministry of Health.
Local media reports indicate she was poisoned by chacha brought from Sochi.
— The patient has died. Methanol poisoning has been laboratory-confirmed, — the statement said.
Her condition upon admission was assessed as extremely critical.
Earlier reports stated that ten people died from poisoning after consuming homemade alcohol purchased at a market in Sirius.
