Krasnodar, June 10. The Kuban parliament has scheduled gubernatorial elections.
An extraordinary 61st session of the Legislative Assembly of the region took place at the end of last week.
The resolution of the Legislative Assembly “On the appointment of elections for the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory” was the first item considered by the deputies.
According to the requirements of the Federal Law “On the Basic Guarantees of Electoral Rights and the Right to Participate in a Referendum of Citizens of the Russian Federation” and the regional law “On the Elections of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory,” the elections of the head of the region are appointed by the Legislative Assembly of the territory.
The decision on this must be taken no earlier than 100 days and no later than 90 days before the voting day, which is the second Sunday of September of the year
