The BACP trade hub will launch its first phase in late October
On August 18, the 2025 Autumn Conference was successfully held in Dongguan to assist Chinese living abroad in going global. The event was attended by over 160 enterprises and organizations, including the World Alliance of Overseas Chinese Enterprises, leading business associations from the Greater Bay Area, and well-known brands. At the conference, the first group of companies signed agreements to relocate to the «Bay Area Canton Trades Premium Hub» (BACP). Meanwhile, buyers from the World Alliance of Overseas Chinese Enterprises signed purchase deals worth 15 million yuan. The total area of the hub’s first phase will be 30,000 square meters, with the first 5,000-square-meter exhibition hall opening by the end of October. Positioned as a «year-round, endless trade center,» it aims to serve as a permanent bridge connecting local businesses with buyers from around the world.
Foreign Buyers Place Orders
Exceeding 15 Million Yuan
The event was attended by over a dozen prominent buyers from the United States, South Korea, Spain, Venezuela, Fiji, and other countries. Known as the «World Factory,» Dongguan enjoys high brand recognition and product reputation overseas. Since the beginning of this year, alliance members have made four procurement trips to Guangdong, with total purchases exceeding 300 million yuan, of which over 200 million yuan went to Dongguan.
At this conference, the Alliance placed orders with BACP worth over 15 million yuan, including clothing, plush toys, photovoltaic batteries, and hotel essentials. By deepening cooperation, both parties aim to leverage the alliance’s global network to develop bilateral trade and achieve mutual benefit.
Dongguan’s developed port infrastructure, including direct shipping routes to South Korea, allows buyers to shift their procurement from inland cities like Chengdu and Wuhan to Dongguan, significantly reducing logistics costs and delivery times. With BACP’s comprehensive centralized procurement service, efficiency will be further enhanced, and the official launch of the center is expected to substantially increase procurement volumes.
Over 50 Greater Bay Area Manufacturers

A signing ceremony for the first batch of enterprises was held, along with interactive negotiation sessions. Over 50 manufacturers from the Greater Bay Area signed letters of intent to join the hub.
Lemay Group, a manufacturer of medical supplies specializing in personal hygiene and household sanitation products, exports its goods to 32 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, and Russia. As one of the first companies to join BACP, it hopes to utilize the Alliance’s global resources to further expand its share in the international market.
