BEKASI CITY – Illegal structures along the Kalimalang River near Islamic University «45» (UNISMA) Bekasi were finally demolished by the Bekasi City Government on Monday (2/6/2025).
Pemkot plans to transform the area into a Green Open Space (RTH) for the people of Bekasi City.
“In the interim, the projected plan for the area around the Kalimalang Riverside is to turn it into a park,” said the Head of the Bekasi City Spatial Planning Office, Dzikron.
In the same location, the East Bekasi District Head, Fitri Widyati revealed that the majority of traders in the area are from outside Bekasi City.
“According to the data we have, there are about 74 traders occupying the location. However, they are not residents of Bekasi City, with only 9 being from East Bekasi,” she disclosed.
Fitri explained that her side would continue coordinating with the concerned departments regarding post-demolition of the area.
«Я буду координировать свои действия с транспортным агентством города Бекаси (Dishub) по поводу организации уличного освещения, чтобы на улицах было светло и достаточно света. А также с Агентством общественных работ и водных ресурсов Бекаси (DBMSDA), чтобы сохранить деревья в этом месте», — заключила она.(**)
