World Trade Center

The World Trade Center in New York City was a complex of seven buildings, most famously the Twin Towers, which opened in 1973 as a hub for international trade and commerce. On September 11, 2001, the towers were destroyed in a terrorist attack, resulting in nearly 3,000 deaths. The site has since been rebuilt as the new World Trade Center complex, featuring the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and the soaring One World Trade Center, honoring the past while looking toward the future.

Smart Araneta Coliseum

The Smart Araneta Coliseum, also known as the “Big Dome,” is a historic indoor arena located in Quezon City, Philippines. Opened in 1960, it was the largest covered coliseum in Asia at the time and has hosted iconic events, including the famous “Thrilla in Manila” boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in 1975. Today, it remains a premier venue for sports, concerts, and cultural events in the country.

Quezon City

Quezon City, located in the Philippines, was the country’s capital from 1948 to 1976 and is named after former President Manuel L. Quezon, who envisioned it as a new national capital. It is the largest city in Metro Manila by area and population, known for its mix of residential areas, government offices, and cultural landmarks like the Quezon Memorial Circle. Today, it serves as a major urban center with a rich history tied to post-war development and Filipino national identity.
