Big Ben
Big Ben is the iconic clock tower located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, England. Officially known as the Elizabeth Tower since 2012, it was completed in 1859 and houses the Great Bell, nicknamed “Big Ben,” which chimes hourly. A symbol of British heritage, the tower is renowned for its Gothic Revival architecture and precision timekeeping.
London Eye
The London Eye, located on the South Bank of the River Thames, is a giant Ferris wheel that opened in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. Standing at 135 meters tall, it was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel until 2006 and offers panoramic views of London’s landmarks. Originally intended as a temporary attraction, its popularity made it a permanent fixture and an iconic symbol of the city.
Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official residence and administrative headquarters of the British monarch in London. Originally built in 1703 as Buckingham House, it was transformed into a palace in the 19th century under King George IV and became the principal royal residence under Queen Victoria in 1837.
