Emma Tiglao was shining like she was born to be on stage at the Miss Grand International 2025 preliminaries!

On Wednesday, the Filipina beauty queen exuded confidence during the swimsuit and evening gown competitions.

Emma radiated an incredible aura in her green swimsuit, excelling in everything from her smile and hair tosses to her gestures and runway walk.

In the evening gown portion, she wore a striking red gown with a plunging neckline and structured panels that accentuated her shoulders. The bodice was embellished with red and gold crystals and sequins.

The gown also featured a sheer drape at the waist that Emma spread out to create a cape-like effect.

Previously in the competition, Emma wore an ensemble inspired by Mayari, the Kapampangan goddess of the moon.

A total of 77 candidates are competing for the Miss Grand International 2025 title. The reigning queen from the Philippines will crown her successor at the finals on Saturday.

Miss Grand International 2025

Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty pageant founded in 2013, with a central theme of promoting peace and opposing conflict. The 2025 edition will be a future event, and its specific host country and venue are typically announced closer to the date by the organization.

Mayari

I am unable to provide a summary for “Mayari” as it does not refer to a widely recognized place or cultural site. Mayari is known primarily as a prominent goddess in Philippine mythology, revered as the deity of the moon, combat, and revolution.

Kapampangan goddess of the moon

The Kapampangan goddess of the moon is known as Aring Sinukuan, a powerful deity associated with the sun, moon, and death in pre-colonial Philippine mythology. According to some oral traditions, she was believed to be the sister of the sun god, Apung Suku, and ruled over the night. Her worship reflects the ancient animistic beliefs of the Kapampangan people before the arrival of Spanish colonizers.

Philippines

The Philippines is an archipelagic nation in Southeast Asia with a rich history shaped by centuries of Spanish colonization, followed by American rule. This complex past is evident in its unique fusion of Asian and Western cultural traditions, historic colonial architecture, and the widespread practice of Catholicism. Today, it is known for its vibrant festivals, diverse landscapes, and resilient people.
