“Banten Ranks Among Indonesia’s Top 10 Provinces with the Most International Medals”

Throughout 2024, Indonesian students from various school levels successfully collected a total of 5,889 medals from international competitions. Banten Province was one of the regions contributing to this achievement.

Banten ranked 7th nationally with 373 medals. This accomplishment demonstrates that Banten students can compete and excel on the global stage, both in academic and non-academic fields.

Meanwhile, Central Java secured first place with a total of 1,386 medals, followed by DKI Jakarta in second place with 1,000 medals and West Java in third place with 694 medals.

These medals were earned by students from elementary, middle, high/vocational schools, and special needs schools. The competitions varied, ranging from academic events such as science olympiads to non-academic fields like arts, sports, and skills.
