Saturday, June 14, 2025 – The Grand Final of the Depok City Reading Ambassador 2025 was successfully held by the Department of Libraries and Archives in Baleka, Saturday (14/6/2025), carrying the theme “Letter Warriors Writing for Change and Reading for Progress”. The event was attended by 16 finalists from 11 districts as an effort to foster a reading culture and increase library visits.
The head of the department mentioned that the Reading Ambassadors will become drivers of literacy and influencers who encourage people to love reading. The event is not just a competition, but a moral movement to shape a knowledgeable and characterful generation in the digital age.
The Reading Ambassadors are expected to become agents of change, spreading the spirit of reading in schools, communities, and social media, and to serve as examples and pioneers of literacy in Depok City.
