Today, the Mayor of Depok Will Be Summoned by KDM Regarding Civil Servants Using Official Cars for Homecoming Travel

Bandung – The Governor of West Java plans to summon the Mayor of Depok today, Wednesday (4/9/2025), regarding a “controversial” policy that allows civil servants to use official cars for homecoming trips during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 1446H/2025 CE.

The Governor of West Java will ask for direct clarification from the Mayor of Depok about his reasons for allowing civil servants to use official cars for homecoming.

This was stated by the Governor after the Eid gathering with the civil servants of the West Java Provincial Government at the Sate Building courtyard, Bandung, yesterday Tuesday (4/8/2025).

In addition, he also asked the Mayor of Depok to provide an official statement to the media regarding this policy, so that the public understands the real reasons behind it.

The policy had previously attracted public attention because the use of official vehicles for personal purposes during the homecoming period contradicts the governor’s instructions.
