The “74th Shonan Hiratsuka Weaving Princess” has been chosen to enliven Hiratsuka City’s summer tradition, the “74th Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival” (July 3–5). In addition to attending various events throughout the year, including the Tanabata Festival, they will share information on social media to promote the city and enhance its image.

The selected individuals are all residents of the city: Reina Yamanaka (26), self-employed; Kanoko Watanabe (24), freelancer; and Saara Kasuga (21), a university student.
