The Kanagawa Prefecture High School Baseball Fall Tournament (organized by the Kanagawa High School Baseball Federation) held its fourth round with 8 games, determining the best 8 teams.

Hosei Second High School defeated Yokohama Commercial University 6–0, with starting pitcher Sota Matsuda (2nd year) throwing a 5-hit complete game shutout, marking their first quarterfinal appearance in 25 years. Tachibana High School won 4–3 against Nihon University, with starting pitcher Ryoki Goto (1st year) pitching 9 innings allowing 3 runs, becoming the only public school to advance to the top 8.

Yokohama High School, which participated in this summer’s Koshien, defeated Kawawa High School 10–1 in an 8-inning mercy rule game. Tokai University Sagami High School narrowly beat Kamakura Gakuen 2–1.

In other matches, Toko Gakuen High School won 6–5 against Koto High School in an extended 10th inning tie-breaker. Miura Gakuen High School defeated Nihon University Fujisawa 3–0.

The quarterfinals will be held on the 27th and 28th at Thirty-Four Hodogaya Ballpark.
