Yokohama World Porters (Shinko 2, Naka-ku, Yokohama) will open its rooftop “Roof Top World” for a paid special event called “Roof Top World Special Night” on August 4.

“Roof Top World” reopened on July 18 as a scenic spot offering panoramic views of Minato Mirai.

As part of Yokohama World Porters’ second-phase renovation into an “entertainment mall,” a spacious terrace area spanning approximately 5,600 square meters was newly constructed on the rooftop. It features a “deck with panoramic views of Minato Mirai” and a “square for sports and events,” creating a space that visitors will want to return to. An active sports corner includes “putter golf,” which can be enjoyed day or night.
On August 4, the “Minato Mirai Smart Festival” will take place in the area, and from 7:30 PM to 7:55 PM, fireworks will light up the sky as part of the “Sky Symphony in Yokohama” event, combining music and pyrotechnics.

A representative encouraged visitors to “enjoy the fireworks and night views from the newly built ‘Observation Deck’ or ‘Lawn Square,’ along with Yokohama World Porters’ sweets and drinks, for a special evening.”

The Observation Deck is already sold out, while tickets for the Lawn Square cost ¥2,000 for adults and ¥1,000 for children (elementary and middle school students).

The event runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (registration opens at 3:00 PM).
