**TICAD9** (Tokyo International Conference on African Development) is the ninth edition of a high-level forum focused on African development, co-organized by Japan, the United Nations, and other partners. Scheduled for August 2025 in Yokohama, it will bring together African leaders, international organizations, and private sector representatives to discuss sustainable growth, infrastructure, and partnerships. Previous summits have resulted in significant investment pledges and development initiatives.
