A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a racing suit from a motorcycle gear store. The suspect reportedly admitted to the allegations, according to investigative sources.
The arrest relates to an incident on the 5th at around 2:00 PM, when the man allegedly stole a racing suit worth approximately 570,000 yen from the store. Staff noticed the employee concealing the merchandise and taking it outside, leading to his apprehension and handover to police. The incident occurred outside of working hours.
The company released a statement saying, “While the investigation is ongoing, we take the arrest of our employee very seriously. We will verify the facts and take strict action accordingly.”
