This event was a preview session for guests and media, held prior to the main event scheduled to take place from September 15 (Monday, holiday) to September 23 (Tuesday, holiday), 2025.

A ceremony is held in preparation for the viewing session.
The ceremony begins with the host taking the stage.
Greetings were given from Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau. The president, who was scheduled to attend, was absent, so the address was read on their behalf.

Greetings were given from the CEO of SkyDrive Inc., who provided an overview of the flying car “SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive Model SD-05)” and explained its utility for practical use.

The Mayor of Osaka gave a speech, stating, “We want to promote future development from Osaka, starting with the flying car.”
And now, the flying car “SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive Model SD-05)” emerges from the hangar!
It is transported to the takeoff and landing area.
Unfortunately, due to bad weather on this day, the demonstration flight was abruptly canceled for safety reasons.

Although we couldn’t see the demonstration flight, we were able to view the aircraft up close!

It features a compact size and a streamlined design, with a smart appearance intended for urban use.

The viewing session concluded with a commemorative photo session for the media.

It will be interesting to see how the flying car “SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive Model SD-05)” and the ‘Osaka Port WTC Building’ function as future transportation methods!

Osaka Port WTC Building

The Osaka Port WTC Building is a 55-story skyscraper and prominent landmark in Osaka Bay, completed in 1995. It was developed as part of a major waterfront urban renewal project and primarily functions as a commercial office and business center. The building’s distinctive twin-tower design and observation deck have made it a recognizable symbol of Osaka’s modern architecture.

SKYDRIVE

SKYDRIVE is a popular observation deck located on the 46th floor of the Abeno Harukas building in Osaka, Japan, which opened in 2014. It offers 360-degree panoramic views of the city and is known for its open-air rooftop access. The building itself stands on a site with a long commercial history, previously occupied by the Kintetsu Department Store.
