The large-scale renovation of Matsuzakaya Nagoya’s main building, which has been ongoing since last year, will be completed on August 31.

On the 30th, the 6th floor of the main building reopened after renovation. The specialty tea shop “Lattice Sakae,” making its first department store appearance, opened its doors. Visitors can enjoy high-quality teas and afternoon tea, while the select shop offering organic and natural foods has also been refreshed with a new look.

In addition, a tax-free counter for foreign tourists has been set up, and the area was bustling with shoppers from the morning.

“It’s sparkling and very lovely. With so many beautiful shops, it really sparks the desire to buy,” said one shopper.

“Since summer vacation is almost over, I’m glad I could come (with my grandchild),” commented another shopper.

The large-scale renovation of Matsuzakaya Nagoya’s main building is scheduled to be completed with the opening of the 7th floor on the 31st.
