Regarding the voyeurism incident involving an elementary school teacher in Nagoya City, 33 reports of suspicious behavior have been submitted, and the city has announced plans to investigate.

Nagoya City had been calling for information until August 31st from approximately 21,000 individuals, including teachers and daycare staff, regarding whether they had witnessed or heard of any inappropriate conduct.

During a press conference, Mayor Ichiro Hirozawa revealed that a total of 33 reports were received—27 related to schools and 6 related to other facilities—regarding suspicious behavior.

None of the submitted information included content that immediately required police investigation or was directly related to the social media group the arrested teacher was allegedly part of.

The city will now carefully review the 33 reports and conduct interviews and other investigations.
