A charity event for children held at Zou-no-Hana Terrace, associated with Rare Disease Day.

The charity event “Colors of Hope,” focusing on children with rare diseases and disabilities, is being held at Zou-no-Hana Terrace in Yokohama’s Naka Ward since May 17.

Related to “Rare Disease Day” on May 23, the event aims to promote understanding and support for children with illnesses and disabilities (special needs kids). It features concerts, talks, interactive workshops, and a market, and is designed for participation by not only people with special needs but everyone.

On stage, there are concerts by the children’s choir “STAR SINGERS CLUB”, musical instrument experiences and classical concerts “Beethoven – Creating Sound in a Silent World” by “Classic Picnic”, and gospel lives by “The Soul Bird”.

The workshops include “Kuma-chan’s Vehicle Stamp & Colorful Coloring” by the assisted living facility “studio COOCA”, “Glowing Sensory Bottle Making” by “Mingle Club”, and “Silkscreen Workshop
