The government’s stockpile of rice produced in 2022 was delivered to the Matsubara Rice Milling Factory in Ishikari, operated by a leading grain wholesaler in Sapporo, on the morning of the 9th. This is the first time a company in the region has made the arrival of stockpile rice public. Some of it will be sold at the head office in Higashi-Karyu, Higashi Ward, Sapporo, in the afternoon of the same day.
