This is the first extremely hot day with temperatures above 35°C this year. According to records that started in 1891, this is the second earliest occurrence. Other areas, including Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture, Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, and Kuwana City in Mie Prefecture, also experienced extremely hot days.
