MOJOKERTO – The controversy surrounding the ship-shaped project at the Mojokerto Public Reading Park (TBM) continues to escalate. After Nugroho, alias Putut, one of the suspects, declared himself a justice collaborator, his wife, Erny Mardiana, has now spoken out, vowing to expose the alleged involvement of Mojokerto City Government officials.

Erny not only defended her husband but also claimed to possess crucial evidence that could reveal corrupt practices in the billion-rupiah project.

“I won’t stay silent. I have all the evidence. If this isn’t exposed, the crimes will keep spreading,” Erny asserted, her eyes welling up, during an interview at the Mojokerto District Prosecutor’s Office.

In her statement, Erny emphasized that her husband was merely a worker, not a decision-maker in the TBM project. She explained that Nugroho was an artist who only constructed the fiber-based ship structure under the contractor Kholik’s orders.

“My husband isn’t a civil servant or an official. He’s just an artist. He was told to build the ship panels and was paid for it,” Erny said. She argued that naming him as a suspect was deeply unfair and seemed to scapegoat the vulnerable.

Beyond defending him, Erny claimed to have secured digital evidence pointing to the involvement of key figures within the Mojokerto City Government. She stated this evidence would be prepared for trial.

“Everything will be proven in court. I have recordings, chats—all stored carefully. The little people shouldn’t be sacrificed to cover up the mistakes of the powerful,” she declared.

Erny hopes her husband’s role as a justice collaborator will gain public support and serious attention from law enforcement. She urged a fair investigation into all parties involved in the TBM project scandal.

“Don’t let only the underlings take the fall. If justice isn’t served, public trust in the law could collapse,” she said.

In her closing remarks, Erny affirmed her readiness to testify in court as a witness for the truth. She stressed that her fight was not just for her husband but for justice for all.

“I will reveal everything. I want the truth uncovered. No more victims of a corrupt system,” Erny concluded.
