TANGERANG – The Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tirta Benteng of Tangerang City remains committed to improving services for the community. To simplify the process of applying for clean water connections, residents can now do it conveniently through the Siganteng Application, which can be downloaded on Google Play Store and App Store.

The commitment to facilitate services with maximum ease was emphasized.

“With the Siganteng application, the process of applying for water connections is now more practical. Right from the palm of your hand, residents can register, upload documents, and make payments,” it was stated.

It was also emphasized how important it is to switch from using well water to Perumda Tirta Benteng water, not only to obtain healthier drinking water but also as a collective effort to maintain the sustainability of groundwater availability in the Tangerang City area.

“We urge all residents of Tangerang City, let’s together switch from using groundwater to Perumda water. This step is not only to get cleaner and healthier water but also as a real form of our care for the environment,” it was explained.

“By reducing groundwater exploitation, we preserve the availability of underground water for the future and prevent land subsidence,” it was added.

Easy Steps for Customers

Perumda Tirta Benteng has simplified the application procedure to make it more efficient. Here are the easy steps prospective customers can follow:

1. Prospective customers simply need to download the Siganteng application and register. Upload the required documents: Identity Card (KTP), Family Card (KK), and the most recent Land and Building Tax (PBB).

2. After registration, the technical team from Perumda Tirta Benteng will conduct a survey at the location to check pipeline network availability and determine the customer category.

3. If the application is approved, the prospective customer can immediately make the installation fee payment of Rp 1,250,000. After payment is confirmed, the water connection will be installed within a maximum of 7 working days.
