TANGERANG – The Tangerang City Government has once again received a prestigious award from the Banten Representative Office of the Ombudsman. One recipient is the Tangerang City Education Office. This regional apparatus organization (OPD) has succeeded in becoming the only government agency in Banten Province to receive an opinion score in the assessment of public service maladministration in the “very good” category.
The award achieved is a concrete form of public satisfaction and trust in the public services within the Tangerang City Education Office environment.
It is recorded that the Tangerang City Education Office achieved the highest score in Banten Province with a total of 88.06, accompanied by a public trust index score of 30.00.
“Alhamdulillah, we received appreciation for the public services that have been running very well, particularly for being considered highly responsive in addressing community needs. On the other hand, this award is proof of the public’s trust in the performance of the Tangerang City Education Office so far,” the statement was made at the Tangerang City Puspem.
It was further stated that the award achieved can serve as motivation for all levels of employees to improve the quality of public services, especially in the education sector in Tangerang City.
“We hope that through this award, it can be motivation for the future to continue providing increasingly better and more complete public services,” the statement said.
Furthermore, the Tangerang City Government itself received the results of the Ombudsman RI Banten Representative Office’s opinion on the 2025 public service maladministration assessment with a score of 84.25, placing it in the high (good) category status.
