The Regent of Tangerang, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, visited the home of a baby in Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency, who was given the exact same name as him.
The visit took place after the baby named Moch. Maesyal Rasyid was born at the Sepatan Community Health Center. The baby is the son of the couple Boyirin Jamaludin and Nabila Fauziah Kurniawati.
During the visit, Maesyal expressed being touched and happy to meet the baby who was named after him.
He stated that he had previously promised to come after the baby was born.
“Today, along with the Sepatan District Head, I visited to see the baby named Moch. Maesyal Rasyid from Sarakan, Sepatan. Some time ago, I promised to come directly when the baby was born,” said Maesyal.
According to him, the name given by the parents is a prayer and good hope for the child’s future.
“I feel proud and pray that this child grows up healthy and righteous. And may he be beneficial to the nation, state, and religion,” he said.
In addition to visiting the baby, the Regent of Tangerang also encouraged the parents to continue providing the best education and affection for their child.
Meanwhile, the baby’s mother, Nabila Fauziah Kurniawati, said she deliberately gave that name because she hopes her child will grow up to be a leader.
“We hope our child can become a great person, a leader like the Regent of Tangerang, and a righteous child,” she concluded.
