A group of armed robbers carried out a brazen daylight robbery in the Periuk Jaya neighborhood, Periuk District, Tangerang City.
During the incident, two perpetrators threatened and stole a motorcycle belonging to a milk shop employee.
The event occurred around 12:30 PM local time. A 29-year-old man named Dedi was working at the shop when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle stopped in front of the store.
One of the suspects approached the victim’s parked motorcycle outside, allegedly attempting to steal it. The victim, noticing this, immediately went outside to confront them.
Suddenly, the perpetrator pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the victim’s head.
“I was working when I saw them stop, and one immediately got off and pointed a gun at me. I was terrified,” said Dedi.
After stealing the motorcycle, the suspects were shouted at and chased. However, they fired shots and managed to escape.
Meanwhile, the police have processed the crime scene and reviewed CCTV footage from the area. “It was reported to the Jatiuwung Police Station, and officers responded immediately,” Dedi stated.
As of this report, the Jatiuwung Police Station has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
