JAKARTA – Zarof Ricar, a former official, was sentenced to 16 years in prison by the Central Jakarta Corruption Court on Wednesday (18/6). The verdict is related to a bribery case that resulted in Gregorius being acquitted in a murder case.
“The defendant Zarof Ricar is sentenced to a prison term of 16 years,” stated the Chief Judge, Rosihan Juhriah Rangkuti. In addition to the prison sentence, Zarof is also required to pay a fine of Rp1 billion, with a subsidiary of 6 months’ imprisonment.
