“Work on the Kutorejo Bridge began on March 18, 2025, and as of October 19, 2025, the progress has reached 93.74 percent. We are targeting completion, God willing, by November 12, 2025,” they stated.
Furthermore, they mentioned that after the bridge construction is finished, there is still additional work to construct retaining walls on the northern and southern sides.
The goal is to protect the soil around the bridge from erosion caused by strong currents during floods, thereby ensuring the stability and safety of the bridge and providing safe access for the public.
“The next task is to build the retaining walls. We are continuously striving so that the benefits can be felt by the community as soon as possible,” they concluded.
