SIDOARJO – The performance of the young team continues to show a positive trend in the event. In the latest friendly match, the squad performed well and managed to defeat their opponents with a convincing score of 2-0.

This victory is not just a number on the scoreboard. Behind this result lies a story of hard work, courage, and the rapid development of the young players who continue to be trained on the field.

Facing opponents who are older in age, the Persida U-13 players played without fear. They were able to control the game well, build structured attacks, and show composure under pressure. The transition from defense to attack was smooth, while the backline played disciplinedly to maintain the lead.

The two goals scored reflect the effectiveness of their play. It’s not just about technique, but also the growing confidence in these young players.

Coach acknowledged a significant improvement in his team’s playing pattern. He believes the players are beginning to understand the meaning of collectivity on the field.

“The progress of the kids is very visible. They are starting to understand how to play as a team, not just as individuals. Even though they faced players older than them, their mentality and courage deserve appreciation,” he said.

However, behind the promising performance, there is an unresolved issue. The lack of support from management and facilities remains a challenge for this team.

The Head of Early Age Development emphasized that the great potential of this team requires serious attention so it is not wasted.

“This team has great potential. If managed seriously, I am confident they can compete at a higher level. But there must be real support, both in terms of development programs and facilities,” he stressed.

This situation creates an irony. On one hand, the young players show spirit and quality worth considering. On the other hand, the support that should be the foundation is not yet optimal.

If not addressed soon, this momentum of revival risks fading. Yet, with proper training and professional management, it is not impossible for Persida U-13 to become a new force in the national youth football scene.

Now, the players have proven themselves on the field. Only one question remains: will support come in time, or will their dreams be delayed again?
