Teachers from SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Mengkudu and SD Negeri 107439 Satu Atap in Dusun VI, Bogak Besar Village, Teluk Mengkudu District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, held a meeting and submitted an official report to the Head of Bogak Besar Village regarding fly infestations originating from several chicken farms located around the school.

The fly attacks have been occurring for several weeks and regularly happen when the chicken farming operations enter harvest season. As a result, flies attack the school area, disrupting the teaching and learning process.

The School Committee Chairman confirmed the meeting took place at SMP 3 Teluk Mengkudu and SD Negeri 107429 Satu Atap.

“Teachers cannot focus on teaching, and students have difficulty concentrating on learning,” he stated.

He added that they hope the Regent of Serdang Bedagai can pay attention to this issue and encourage chicken farm entrepreneurs in the area to address it immediately.
