The performance of Batak artists Jun Munthe and Marsada Band successfully entertained residents at the community entertainment night, part of the 80th Anniversary celebration of Central Tapanuli Regency (Tapteng) at the Pandan soccer field on Saturday night.
The lively event started at 8:40 PM and lasted until 12:30 AM the following morning. Thousands of residents were seen flooding and crowding the field.
The song titled “Ganjang Ma Umur Mi” performed by Jun Munthe, followed by Marsada Band with their hit song “Anju Ma Au,” successfully hypnotized the audience, who sang along together.
The community entertainment night, themed “Embodiment of Tapteng Moving Up a Class, Fair for All,” packaged as Tapteng Fest 2025, successfully entertained the residents, who appeared very enthusiastic and joyful.
The Regent of Tapteng, along with the Vice Regent and the Deputy Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives, also joined in singing and dancing during the performance of the Batak artist stars.
Meanwhile, the Tapteng Police deployed 110 personnel to secure the entire series of community entertainment events.
The Tapteng Police Chief stated that strict security was provided by the police to ensure the smooth running of the exhibition, MSME Expo, and community entertainment.
“Security is carried out in an integrated manner, combining open and intelligence approaches,” said the Police Chief.
The Police Chief explained that the control of all security personnel was led by the Pandan Police Chief, who acted as the head of object security.
He added that the police would remain on standby to ensure security until the entire series of events is completed.
Central Tapanuli Regency
