The DKI Jakarta Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) Driving Team distributed 100 packages of sacrificial animal meat to Dasawisma cadres, Jumantik members, and residents in Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, on Thursday (May 28).

The sacrificial animal meat was symbolically handed over by the Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta PKK Driving Team, Dewi Indriati Rano Karno, at the Halimatul Huda Grand Mosque courtyard, RW 02, Kamal Village, Kalideres. Also present at this event was the Deputy Mayor of West Jakarta, Yuli Hartono.

According to Yuli, this meat comes from sacrificial animals provided by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, some of which were slaughtered by Perumda Dharma Jaya, while others were slaughtered by the Kamal Village staff.

“There are 50 packages of sacrificial meat from the Provincial Government given to the cadres, and 50 packages for underprivileged residents from the village,” he said.

Yuli expressed hope that the distribution of sacrificial animal meat would further strengthen the spirit of togetherness and social solidarity, as well as help meet the nutritional needs of families.

“We from the Mayor’s office have also carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals. We plan to distribute all of it to eligible residents no later than tomorrow,” he added.

The Chairperson of the West Jakarta PKK Driving Team, Ety Syartika, added that the presence of the Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta PKK Driving Team and her staff is a tangible form of the Provincial Government’s care and attention to cadres and residents in Kamal Village.

“Hopefully, the cadres will become even more enthusiastic and demonstrate their performance to ensure the success of various government programs,” she emphasized.
