Depok City, Monday, August 11, 2025 – In celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, the Chairman of the Depok City Regional Legislative Council (DPRD), in collaboration with a local MSME activist and member of Commission B of the Depok City DPRD, organized an MSME promotional video competition with business capital prizes.
“We believe digitalization is key for MSMEs to expand market reach, improve efficiency, and ultimately contribute to job creation and economic welfare,” the Chairman explained.
Through this competition, participants will create product promotional videos, which will then be uploaded to Instagram. Winners will receive business capital prizes totaling Rp. 17,081,945.
The organizer explained that this competition provides a platform for budding MSMEs in Depok City to develop their digital marketing skills.
“MSME actors are encouraged to optimize social media platforms as effective promotional tools, fostering innovation and creativity,” the organizer added.
The competition has three main objectives: first, to enhance MSMEs’ digital literacy by helping them understand and utilize social media for product promotion while encouraging innovation; second, to create broader product exposure, as uploaded content will increase visibility through massive social media reach; and third, to provide business capital support and encourage job creation.
MSME participants can upload their promotional videos to Instagram by the deadline of Monday, August 25, 2025, at 23:59 WIB.
The judging will take place from Tuesday, August 26, 2025, to Thursday, August 28, 2025, with winners announced on Friday, August 29, 2025.
How to Participate in the “Business Capital Promotional Video Competition 2025”
For MSME actors interested in joining, here are the terms and conditions:
- Participants must reside in Depok City and hold a Depok ID.
- Create a promotional video for the business/product (max. 2 minutes).
- Follow the Instagram accounts @modalinusaha @ubaidilahaja @bang_adesupriyatna @jagalilinofficial @pabrikdimsum.id @depokuntuksemua.
- Upload the video and tag the Instagram accounts @modalinusaha @ubaidilahaja @bang_adesupriyatna @jagalilinofficial @pabrikdimsum.id @depokuntuksemua.
- Include the following caption: Business name, owner’s name, business description, business type, and business address.
- Use the hashtags #lombamodalinusaha #umkmmerdeka #modalusahamerdeka #DepokUntukSemua.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Submission deadline: Monday, August 25, 2025, at 23:59 WIB.
Note that judging will be based on creativity as well as the number of likes, comments, and shares on the uploaded content.
