BEKASI CITY – The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Bekasi City targets to achieve 90 percent of its Regional Original Revenue (PAD) by the end of 2025.
The Head of Bapenda Bekasi City stated that entering the 4th quarter, PAD achievement has reached 61 percent. He is optimistic that by the end of the year, PAD achievement will meet the set target.
“Entering the 4th Quarter, our PAD achievement has reached 61.3 percent, from the set target of 64.69 percent. This means there is a difference of only almost 3 percent,” he said after a Hearing Meeting with Commission III of the Bekasi City Regional House of Representatives.
“That’s why we will carry out acceleration, we will gather the team. Indeed, my time is quite short, if we talk about digitalization, it is still far. But we will do acceleration to encourage the team at Bapenda to be more optimal in the field,” he added.
According to him, there are several tax sectors that need acceleration or a push so that revenue can be more optimal.
“The tax sectors that are still lacking are Parking, hospitality, arts and entertainment, and BBNKB. If we talk about BBNKB tax, it depends on the situation in the field, based on information from Gaikindo yesterday there was a decrease in sales,” he said.
With less than 4 months left, he is optimistic that Bekasi City’s Regional Original Revenue can reach 90 percent.
“I am optimistic, but my optimism must be studied first. There is still time for me, I’ve only been sitting (in Bapenda) for a week. It’s like a person studying, I just got the book. So I will try to be optimal. I have a personal target, hopefully we can reach 90 percent PAD. If it’s about aspirations, they must be as high as the sky, my hope is that PAD can reach 90 percent by the end of the year,” he concluded.
