A 14-year-old girl became a victim of rape by her biological father over the past year. The victim was raped six times.

The Bekasi Metro Police Chief explained that the child is now under the care of the Bekasi Metro Police. Currently, the victim is undergoing counseling.

“Her condition is still under counseling. We are providing counseling to the victim to prevent prolonged trauma,” said the Police Chief.

He revealed how the case came to light after the victim reported the incidents to her stepbrother.

“This was uncovered after the victim told her stepbrother that she had been repeatedly assaulted by her own biological father,” he explained.

The victim’s stepbrother reported the case to the Bekasi Metro Police after learning about the rapes. Police acted swiftly and arrested the perpetrator.

“After that, the victim’s stepbrother reported the incident to us, and we took immediate action,” he said.

Police disclosed that the victim had not reported the assaults earlier due to threats from the perpetrator, who also confiscated her phone to prevent her from speaking out.

“The perpetrator took the victim’s phone and threatened her, saying, ‘Don’t tell anyone about this,'” the Police Chief stated.

He added that the perpetrator committed the assaults when the house was empty. The suspect and victim lived together with their family.

“The perpetrator took advantage of moments when the house was quiet—when the victim’s biological mother and siblings were away—leaving the victim alone,” he explained.

The perpetrator raped his own daughter six times. The last assault occurred in May 2025 before the case was reported.

The rapes had been ongoing for the past year, starting when the victim was just 13 years old.

The final assault took place in May 2025, when the perpetrator saw his wife and children asleep in their room.

At that time, he approached his sleeping daughter, who was beside her mother (his wife). After getting close, he initially kissed her before ultimately raping her.

For his heinous actions, the perpetrator faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
