BEKASI CITY – The selection process for the candidate for Technical Director of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Patriot has entered the finalization stage. The selection committee has now obtained 3 candidate names to be submitted to the Mayor of Bekasi for appointment as Technical Director.
Based on information obtained from several sources, the three candidates for Technical Director who passed the selection are Edwarsyah, Irwan Indriyanto, and Bahrul Alam.
When confirmed, the Acting Assistant for Regional Development II at the Regional Secretariat of Bekasi City stated that before the 3 candidate names for Technical Director are submitted to the Mayor of Bekasi, the selection committee will first seek input from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
“We will first seek input from the Minister of Home Affairs. So once there is input from the Minister of Home Affairs, the three successful candidates will then be submitted to the Mayor of Bekasi,” the official said when contacted on Tuesday (June 2, 2026).
He revealed that the announcement of the new Technical Director will be made by the Mayor of Bekasi in the coming weeks.
“God willing, in June (mid-month) the new technical director (of Perumda Tirta Patriot) will be announced,” he added.
He hopes that the elected Technical Director will bring about changes in improving drinking water services for the people of Bekasi City.
“Whoever is elected as Technical Director, I hope that the development of the PDAM can be enhanced. So that the community can be more satisfied with the services of Perumda Tirta Patriot,” he concluded.
