The 2025 Honda Development Basketball League (DBL) West Java Series officially concluded on September 26, 2025, at Gor C-Tra Arena, Bandung. This largest high school competition in Indonesia returned with the support of PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) together with PT Daya Adicipta Motora (DAM) as the Main Dealer of Honda Motorcycles and Parts in West Java.
The Final of the Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series took place at Gor C-Tra Arena, Bandung, with a festive and tense atmosphere. The championship matches featured the boys’ team from SMAN 9 Bandung against SMAN 2 Bandung, and the girls’ match between SMA BPK Penabur Cirebon and Global Prestasi School Bandung, on Saturday, September 27.
The boys’ match was intense and full of tension, with both teams exchanging leads until the final seconds. The teams traded points, but ultimately SMAN 2 Bandung managed to defeat SMAN 9 Bandung with a score of 48-39. This victory secured the championship title for SMAN 2 Bandung for the second time.
Meanwhile, the girls’ match between SMA BPK Penabur Cirebon and Global Prestasi School Bandung was equally exciting. SMA BPK Penabur Cirebon performed consistently throughout the game and successfully defended their championship title with a convincing 64-57 victory. This achievement also secured a Quadruple for the SMA BPK Penabur Cirebon girls’ team in the Honda DBL West Java Series.
The General Manager of Motorcycle Sales, Marketing, & Logistics at DAM congratulated the winning boys’ team from SMAN 2 Bandung and the girls’ team from SMA BPK Penabur Cirebon for demonstrating remarkable struggle and spirit, ultimately achieving the championship title in the Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series.
“Through the Honda DBL event, we aim to continue providing inspiration for students to get closer to their dreams and aspirations, including becoming accomplished athletes at both national and international levels,” stated the General Manager.
Leading up to the Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series competition, DAM also conducted a roadshow to high schools across West Java with various activities and a campaign on riding safety through the #Cari_Aman program for students.
The Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series was divided into two regions: Bogor (West Region) and Bandung (East Region). The Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series – West Region was held at the Gymnasium of the IPB Vocational School from September 9-20, while the Honda DBL 2025 West Java Series – East Region took place at Gor C-Tra Arena Bandung from September 13-27, 2025.
A total of 75 boys’ teams, 35 girls’ teams, and 84 dance teams participated in this season’s most prestigious high school-level competition in Indonesia. Representatives from the two regions, Bandung and Bogor, met in Bandung to compete in the Championship Series.
GOR C-Tra Arena
