Jakarta – achieving three consecutive championship titles. The Persib Bandung team will receive a bonus of IDR 1 billion from the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi.

The Persib Bandung team was greeted by thousands of residents as they left the Gedung Sate area in Bandung City during the Persib Champions convoy on Sunday (5/24/2026). Bojan Hodak and his team were sent off directly by Governor Dedi Mulyadi and Persib Bandung Manager Umuh Muchtar.

Before sending off ‘Maung Bandung’, Dedi expressed his delight that Persib could win three consecutive titles. Dedi also hopes Persib will become champions again next season.

“Today is an outpouring of joy from the supporters celebrating an extraordinary achievement because winning three times is something remarkable. But if they win four times, that would be above extraordinary, special,” said Dedi.

“And this entire celebration must be a celebration of happiness, full of love, and building a positive image that Bandung and West Java are open spaces for anyone to be happy here,” added Dedi.

Dedi then promised a bonus of IDR 1 billion for the Persib squad. The money comes from his personal funds.

“I will share the happiness. I just had a cattle harvest, so there must be some profit. I am donating IDR 1 billion of that profit to Persib. It will be handed over on June 3 at the Regional House of Representatives, given to Mr. Umuh and the team. Hopefully, they can buy satay and it cannot be used for marriage again,” he concluded.
