Persib Bandung has once again strengthened its squad in the transfer market by bringing in a new player.

The head coach revealed the main reason for selecting the Dutch midfielder as part of the Maung Bandung squad.

According to the coach, the player is a quality addition needed by the team in a specific position.

The coach emphasized that the recruitment was not done without reason, but because the team indeed lacked players in that sector.

“We need a player in his position, and we don’t have enough players. So when the opportunity arose, I immediately approved it,” said the coach.

The coach added that the player’s presence is expected to provide better squad depth.

With his quality and experience, the naturalized player is believed to be able to quickly adapt to the team’s playing style.

“He is a good player. When management asked, I said he’s good, just recruit him,” the coach stated.

Additionally, the coach considers the player to be flexible. He can play almost every position on the field, except goalkeeper.

“He just can’t play as a goalkeeper; he can do everything else. A player like this is important for the team,” the coach said.

Eliano’s flexibility is certainly an advantage for the team. With a busy schedule and intense competition, the presence of a versatile player can be a solution when the team faces rotation or emergency conditions due to injuries or card accumulations.

With this move, the team hopes to become more competitive in facing this season’s competitions.

Full support from the coach and trust from management are major assets for the player to showcase his quality in front of the fans.
