The Persib Passport has been officially relaunched with a completely updated design, system, and identity.
This program is now an integral part of the club’s ecosystem, not just a standard loyalty service, but a symbol of emotional connection and direct involvement in the journey of Maung Bandung.
The Vice President of Commercial at PT Bermartabat emphasized that this update is a crucial step in repositioning Persib’s official loyalty program.
“In recent years, there has been some confusion about the relationship between the Passport and the club. Now we are making it clear—the Passport is fully under Persib’s official control, not a third party. This isn’t just a name change but a complete redesign of the concept to be more focused, relevant, and impactful,” he said.
Unlike the previous version, the Persib Passport is now designed as a hybrid experience blending digital and physical engagement. Passport holders won’t just receive benefits like shopping discounts or access to exclusive events but can also participate in ‘adventures’ such as quests, a stamp & reward system, and real-time voting in the Persib app to influence club decisions.
“Our main focus isn’t just transactions but building emotional bonds. Passport holders can join exciting programs like GBLA Stadium tours, casual chats with players, and even exclusive access to training sessions. Their names will also be immortalized on the Mosaic Wall as part of the club’s history,” he explained.
The program targets fans aged 25–40, both men and women, from urban areas, young professionals, and even those living outside Bandung or abroad.
All benefits are accessible through the official Persib app, allowing fans to stay close to the club no matter where they are.
Each member will receive a Welcome Box containing a Passport Book, exclusive merchandise, and a Player Issue Jersey. The Passport Book can be stamped each time a fan completes specific missions in the app.
“These stamps aren’t just marks—they represent a journey with the club. There are rewards too, including discounts, free merchandise, and even video call opportunities with players,” he added.
From registration, activation, stamp collection, voting, to reward redemption—everything is accessible through a single platform in the Persib app. The system is built with high security, featuring data encryption and identity protection, including ID verification.
“The biggest challenge was seamlessly merging offline and online experiences. We want fans to feel connected without barriers, whether at the stadium, at home, or abroad,” he said.
Passport holders will also receive additional benefits if Persib ever undertakes corporate actions like an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Additionally, there are Anniversary Rewards and Birthday Gifts every year, as well as collaborations with active players, club legends, and influencers in various campaigns.
Through this relaunch, the club aims to restore the meaning of membership as being part of the Maung Bandung family.
“The Passport isn’t just a card—it’s a spiritual journey with the club, from the stands to becoming part of its history,” he said.
