The Mumbai Crime Branch has carried out a major operation against drug smugglers. During this campaign, banned gutkha worth over ₹1.28 crore was seized and a total of 11 accused were arrested. The Crime Branch had received information that despite the ban on gutkha in Maharashtra, some individuals were smuggling gutkha.
