This information was provided by a senior official from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. According to the hospital’s chairman, the condition of the 79-year-old leader has improved. It was stated that Gandhi is now feeling comfortable, is able to walk, and is eating normally. It was said that her condition is improving rapidly and doctors hope to discharge her soon.
Sonia Gandhi was Admitted on March 24
It is notable that Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital late on the night of March 24 following complaints of fever. According to the hospital, she is being administered antibiotic treatment for a systemic infection and is responding well to the treatment. Her treatment is being monitored under supervision.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the senior Congress leader has been hospitalized. The senior Congress leader was also hospitalized last June due to abdominal issues and was kept under observation in the hospital’s gastro department. Prior to that, earlier the same month, on June 7, she was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
