Another Heinous Case in Surat
Earlier, Surat’s Saroli police had arrested 21-year-old Mozabeer in a case of sexual assault involving a three-year-old girl. The accused, a resident of Bihar, worked in a textile factory in the Saroli area. Before he could commit any further heinous crime, the victim’s mother reached the rooftop while searching for her. Local residents immediately gathered and beat Sheikh. The Saroli police were informed, and a case was registered against Sheikh under the BNS (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act for the rape case.
