Hyderabad, The annual general meeting of the Agarwal Samaj Kottapet branch for the financial year 2025-26 was held at Balaji Family Dhaba, Dilsukhnagar.

The meeting began with the worship of Maharaja Agrasen. Branch President Ashok Jindal welcomed everyone and thanked the members for their support throughout the year. The program was conducted by Shweta Rajagopal Agarwal. She presented a detailed account of the various achievements and contributions of the Kottapet branch during 2025-26. She specifically mentioned the branch’s support and participation in various events organized for the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations. She also informed about the active participation and important responsibilities undertaken by branch members in the AST Super Singer program.

The President stated that many branch members have received leadership opportunities in various central committees of the society. These include responsibilities as Chairman of the Marriage Data, Branch Expansion, Migrant/Outstation Agrabandhu/Migrant Welfare, Social Media, and Taxation committees. Additionally, one branch member was given the responsibility of co-opted member in the central executive committee. He said that the branch’s KS member, CA Rajagopal Agarwal, has been entrusted with the role of Treasurer in the central executive committee of Agarwal Samaj Telangana.

Following this, CA Rajagopal Agarwal presented details of various social, cultural, and organizational events held throughout the year. Executive committee member CA Dinesh Agarwal informed that the branch’s younger generation has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of education. Eight talented students were honored and felicitated by the central committee of Agarwal Samaj, Telangana.

Accounts for financial year 2025-26 passed unanimously

Secretary Rajesh Agarwal presented the accounts for the financial year 2025-26, which were unanimously passed by the assembly. Vice President of Agarwal Samaj Telangana, Harigovind Prasad, present as a special guest, provided guidance to the youth and society members regarding various career opportunities. He urged them to come forward as volunteers for the upcoming Fish Prasad program organized by the center.

Chief Regional Coordinator Suresh Tandon appreciated the work being done by the branch team. He emphasized the importance of unity and organization within the society, delivering a strong message of strength in organization. Treasurer Rajkumar Agarwal appealed for a society membership drive. Central committee member Mahendra Agarwal provided information about the activities of the Marriage Data Committee and upcoming programs. Various suggestions and ideas were presented by the members present at the meeting.
