According to sources, PM Modi has been invited by France as a partner country. Although India is not a member of the G7 group, it has been consistently invited due to its growing role in global issues.

France had issued official confirmation

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently issued a statement confirming the possible participation of Prime Minister Modi. This information came to light after a conversation between Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot. It was stated that both leaders highlighted the importance of India’s role and contribution to the G7 summit.

The possible meeting between PM Modi and President Trump during the G7 summit is being considered very significant.
