Hyderabad, The State Task Force of the Excise Police has become active against the smuggling of non-duty paid liquor bottles (NDPL) before the New Year. It was reported that individuals coming from Goa, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Delhi are bringing liquor bottles purchased at lower prices from those places into Telangana, while several people are also smuggling NDPL liquor for sale during the New Year.

It was stated that smuggling of NDPL liquor causes a loss of revenue, which is why the department has been taking active action in this direction.
