PM Modi Spoke to US President Trump Over the Phone

Prime Minister Modi informed American President Trump over the phone that there was no question of mediation in Pakistan’s ceasefire

Canada, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President Donald Trump over the phone on Wednesday, a conversation that lasted about 35 minutes. During the conversation, PM Modi briefed President Trump on Operation Sindoor.

During the conversation, Modi clarified that there had been no discussion related to trade concerning Operation Sindoor. He reiterated that India had called for a ceasefire at Pakistan’s behest and that India never accepts any third-party mediation and will not do so in the future. Moreover, PM Modi emphatically stated that India will now view incidents of terrorism not as proxy wars, but as direct acts of war. Operation Sindoor is still ongoing.

President Trump understood the details explained by PM Modi and expressed support for India’s fight against terrorism.
