Tourists to Experience a Unique Beach Blend with Popular Singer Performances, Cultural Programs, Adventure Sports, and Food Festival

With the aim of promoting coastal tourism, a three-day ‘Suvali Beach Festival–2026’ will be organized at Suvali Beach near Surat from January 9 to 11, under the joint auspices of the Gujarat Tourism Corporation and the Surat District Administration. A key meeting was held to discuss the festival’s planning and preparations.

The Suvali Beach Festival will be inaugurated on January 9 at 5 PM. On this occasion, the beach will be enlivened with cultural, entertainment, and tourism activities.

It was stated that this beach festival is being organized to develop Suvali Beach as a major tourist destination, encourage coastal tourism, create local employment opportunities, and attract a large number of tourists. It was informed that special arrangements for city buses and ST buses will be made for all three days for the convenience of tourists traveling to and from Suvali.

Preparations were reviewed in the meeting, with necessary guidelines issued. Emphasis was placed on deploying fire brigade personnel, swimmers, ambulances, and health teams for safety, as well as ensuring traffic regulation, parking, and other arrangements on all roads leading to Suvali Beach.

During the festival, special arrangements will be made for tourists including camel and horse rides, adventure sports, craft stalls, a food court, a photo corner (selfie point), traditional games, an entertainment zone for children, and cultural programs. Approximately 125 stalls will be set up in the food court, where visitors can savor traditional and innovative dishes including Nagli dishes, Dangi dishes, and Umbadiyu.

At the Suvali Beach Festival, famous singers from Gujarat will entertain the audience with their performances. On January 9 at 6:30 PM, Osman Mir and Aamir Mir will perform. On January 10 at 7:00 PM, Bhumi Trivedi will perform, and on January 11 at 7:00 PM, Santvani Trivedi will give her musical performance.
