Under the guidance of District Commandant Dr. Prafulla Shiroya, the “Chal Jivi Laiye Foundation” conducted an awareness program
A suicide awareness program was organized at the multi-story building in Nanpura, Surat by the A Zone and Women’s Home Guards Unit. The program was conducted under the guidance of the “Chal Jivi Laiye Foundation” team and District Commandant Dr. Prafulla Shiroya.
During this event, several officers and home guards were present, including Sub Inspector Instructor Jaydeep Kataria, A Zone Officer Commanding Sunil Maisuria, A Zone Clerk Raj Patel, Women Officer Commanding Dhonduben, and Women Clerk Roshni Patel.
During the program, the foundation’s founder, J. P. Saheb, elaborated on the reasons behind suicide and its mental, social, and economic impacts on families. He said that instead of panicking and taking a wrong step in difficult situations, people should seek help and guidance.
He appealed that if someone experiences thoughts of suicide, they should contact the “Chal Jivi Laiye Foundation.” The foundation will provide all possible support and appropriate guidance to people struggling with mental stress until their problem is resolved.

Saheb, provided detailed information about the problems arising from suicide and the mental, social, and economic impacts on family members after a suicide. He appealed to people that if they ever have thoughts of suicide, they should contact the “Chal Jivi Laiye Foundation” before taking any wrong step.
It was also stated by the foundation that if a person is struggling with mental stress or suicidal thoughts, all possible support and guidance will be provided until their problem is resolved.
