The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Surat Textile Federation will jointly organize the upcoming ‘Surat International Textile Machinery Expo (SITEX)-2025’ on November 22, 23, and 24, 2025 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations.
During the MoU signing ceremony, tremendous enthusiasm was observed among stall holders. Given the large number of applications received, all stalls were booked through a draw system, and stall holders were immediately provided with layout and stall numbers.
The textile industry of Surat has traditionally maintained a global identity, and ‘SITEX-2025’ will prove to be a milestone in giving new direction to this identity. This exhibition will provide a shared platform for industries at national and international levels in the fields of textile machinery, auxiliary equipment, technical textiles, and innovations.
The embroidery industry is the backbone of Surat’s economy, and through this exhibition, local industries will get an opportunity to connect with international buyers and technology suppliers.
Officials from both organizations expressed confidence that the ‘SITEX-2025’ exhibition will further strengthen Surat’s position on the global textile industry map and prepare all industries, both small and large, for international competition.
